Fishing permits vary depending on the type of fishing. A rod permit allows you to fish with a lure or fly, or by spinning or angling, depending on the conditions of the permit area. Other fishing permits allow fishing with nets and other types of fishing gear. A crab permit is available for catching crayfish.
